Micromachined monolithic silicon AFM probe for non-contact and tapping mode operation.
BudgetSensors' Tap190-G series features a 225 µm long AFM cantilever and it is designed as an alternative to BudgetSensors' Tap300 in cases when the feedback loop of the AFM system does not accept high frequencies (400 kHz) or when the detection system needs a minimum AFM cantilever length > 125 µm.
The consistent AFM tip radius of less than 10 nm ensures high resolution and good reproducibility.
The AFM probe features a reflective aluminum coating on the back side of the AFM cantilever. For measurements in liquids please use the back side gold coated Tap190GD-G or the overall gold coated Tap190GB-G!
With its industry standard dimensions of 3.4 x 1.6 x 0.3 mm the holder chip fits most commercial AFM systems.
Consistent high quality at a lower price!
This AFM probe features alignment grooves on the back side of the holder chip.
Partially mixed and partially cured two component epoxy. The phase image data is overlaid on the 3D topography.

Information is stored on CDs by real physical holes in the plastic surface below the reflective aluminum foil. The laser holes on CD-Rs and DVD-Rs we 'burn' at home probably look a bit different from the molded ones on mastered CDs.
