Digital Stereo Microscope
Stereo-1 3.0 Megapixels
Product Description
Introduction
Stereo microscopes, also known as low magnification and dissecting microscopes. Stereo-1 Academic Stereo Zoom Microscope on a post stand offers upright, un-reversed 3-dimensional images that remain in focus throughout the zoom range. Optional eyepieces and auxiliary objectives expand magnification range and working distances.
This is the most commonly purchased type of stereo microscope. They are popular because you have a continuous range of magnifications controlled by a zoom knob eg 0.7X to 4.5X (total magnifies 7X to 45X with the standard 10X eyepieces) and because you can also add auxiliary objectives eg 0.5X, 0.75X,1.5X or 2X which change the zoom magnification range proportionately and also alter the working distance. This type of microscope can also have the largest range of illumination accessories attached such as ring lights. You can also obtain zoom microscopes with ‘trinocular heads’(T suffix) which gives the user an additional vertical photo port onto which a camera can be attached with the appropriate camera adapter. In summary zoom microscopes give the greatest range of magnifications, working distances, photo options, accessories and are the most convenient to use – no wonder they are popular!.
