Static free rubber mat with grounding/wrist strap combination allows safe handling of AFM probes during mounting. Tips can be easily destroyed by the smallest amount of static electricity and we highly recommend utilizing an ESD station at all times but particularly for high aspect ratio and SuperSharpSilicon tips.
