The Nano eNabler™ benchtop molecular printer is a new and enabling technology for ultramicro- and nanoscale fluid delivery. It is a versatile platform capable of
delivering attoliter to femtoliter (10-18 to 10-15 liter) volumes of solutions containing biomolecules and other materials to defined locations on surfaces with 1 to 20 μm feature sizes and nanometer spatial resolution.
The Nano eNabler™ benchtop molecular printer’s unique features offer:
• The ability to print smaller spot sizes (1 to 20 μm)
• Precision printing (20 nm resolution) within a 50 mm x 50 mm area of travel
• Multiplexed printing capabilities
• Direct printing of materials ranging from biomolecules to nanoparticles
• Wide range of compatible surfaces
• Integrated 150x to 1000x video microscope
We’ve heard from our users about several very important benefits they appreciate, including:
• The Nano eNabler printer allows the user to ask more complete biological questions
because it prints large and small complex patterns onto almost any surface.
• The user can perform hypothesis-driven research, without being restricted by the
tools.
• The cantilevers that the Nano eNabler system uses have an open channel architecture
that reduces clogging issues often encountered with ink-jets.
• This molecular printer offers a balance of flexibility, feature size, accuracy, resolution,
speed, and throughput that no other patterning technology can match, allowing the
user to own one piece of equipment for multiple applications.
• Greater patterning flexibility and multiplexing capabilities than microcontact printing
mean more time running experiments and less time waiting for new photomasks
and PDMS molds.
• The Nano eNabler system’s video microscope facilitates optical alignment for device
functionalization and spot measurement for optimization.
